Below are the two primary approaches we use, chosen based on your carpet type and how quickly you need it dry.

Hot-Water Extraction Cleaning
Often called “steam cleaning,” this method injects warm, gentle water and WoolSafe-approved, plant-based detergent deep into the carpet fibres. Powerful suction then lifts out dirt, dust mites, pet dander, and most odours. Although called “steam,” the temperature is controlled so it’s safe for all wool, synthetic, and blended carpets.
Who it’s for: Ideal for heavily soiled areas, homes with pets or allergy sufferers, and wool/cotton blends that benefit from a deep flush.
Drying time: Usually 4–6 hours, depending on humidity and airflow.​​

Low-Moisture Encapsulation Cleaning
This technique uses a specialized, fast-dry polymer solution that encapsulates dirt and dissolves grease as it dries. A low-moisture rotary machine then breaks apart and lifts away particles. Because it uses minimal water, carpets are ready to walk on in 1–2 hours.
Who it’s for: Perfect for holiday lets, commercial offices, and delicate or vintage rugs that need gentle handling and a quick turn-around.
Drying time: Typically 1–2 hours, depending on ventilation.

Spot & Stain Removal (Add-On)
Spills happen—but they don’t have to become permanent eyesores. Using targeted, enzyme-based treatments (always WoolSafe-approved), we tackle coffee, wine, ink, and pet-accident spots at the source. For households with pets, we offer a UV/LED scan to detect hidden urine stains, then apply specialized neutralizers that eliminate odour completely.
Who it’s for: Homes or businesses with children, pets, or frequent entertaining where accidental spills are common.
How it works: We identify the stain type, test in an inconspicuous spot, and apply the correct enzyme solution. After a short dwell time, we agitate gently and extract the residue, leaving no sticky build-up.
